Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by Händle & Korte GmbH (HK:net), Rathausufer 20, 40213 Düsseldorf, Germany. When you access this website, technical data may be processed in server log files, including your IP address, date and time of the request, requested page or file, access status, transferred data volume, referrer, browser and operating system. This processing is used to deliver the website and maintain its stability and security. The legal basis is generally our legitimate interest in the secure and reliable operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Further information is available in HK:net’s privacy notice. Server log files are retained only for as long as necessary to operate and secure the website and are then deleted or anonymised, unless a longer retention period is required by law or needed to investigate a security incident.
Contact by email
If you contact me by email, I process the information you send (including your email address and message) to respond to your enquiry and handle any follow-up. Please do not send confidential or sensitive information by ordinary email. Data is retained only as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any applicable legal retention obligations.
Fonts, analytics and website storage
This website uses system fonts specified in its local CSS and does not load fonts from external font providers. No separate visitor analytics, advertising pixels or marketing tracking tools are implemented in the website files. The website code does not intentionally set its own cookies or use local storage for analytics or advertising. The hosting provider and the browser environment may process technical data as described in this notice; the exact behaviour of the hosting configuration should be confirmed with the provider. Under § 25 TDDDG, consent may be required for storing information on, or accessing information from, a visitor’s device unless an exception applies. If cookie-based or other tracking services are added later, this notice and the consent setup must be reviewed before they are used.
Externally hosted film images
Some film images on the Credits page are currently loaded directly from external servers, including image hosts associated with Praesens, filmportal.de, ZDF Studios, The Movie Database (TMDB) and kino.nu. When a page containing one of these images is opened, the visitor’s browser requests the image from the relevant provider. This can disclose technical connection data such as the visitor’s IP address, browser/device information, the requested image and, depending on browser and site settings, referrer information. The relevant provider receives the request and may process it under its own privacy policy. The images are used to present selected film credits; the intended legal basis is our legitimate interest in presenting a professional portfolio (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). I do not control the providers’ subsequent processing. Where practical and where the necessary image-use rights are available, externally hosted images may be replaced with locally hosted files to reduce these third-party connections.

This website contains ordinary links to my profiles on IMDb and LinkedIn. When you visit this website, these links do not by themselves load content from those platforms. If you click a link, you will leave this website and connect directly to the selected provider. That provider may process personal data such as your IP address and information about your browser or device in accordance with its own privacy information.
